The Fostex FR-2LE - a compact audio recorder designed from the ground-up to meet the needs of professionals in the field.

The Fostex FR-2LE records to CompactFlash in Broadcast WAV Format (BWF) at 24bit 96kHz quality. It’s equipped with two professional phantom powered XLR microphone inputs (XLR-phone combo) complete with precise control over the recording level. It features a 1 take = 1 file recording system which eliminates overwrites and the 2 second ‘pre-record’ buffer means there should never be a missed take or lost soundbite. There’s even an MP3 mode and built-in stereo microphones designed for interviews.

Fostex MR-8 Mk II is the easiest to use digital multitrack ever.

If you can operate a tape recorder, you’ll be recording and multitracking within minutes of turning on the Fostex MR-8 Mk II. By putting all the major controls and functions right there on the top panel instead of buried in a confusing menu system, the Fostex MR-8 Mk II, unlike some other recorders, actually aids you in capturing your musical ideas. In addition there’s great sounding built-in digital effects, guitar amp and mic simulators, handy mix-down effects, plus the ability to hook up to a PC for data editing, and backing up your songs.

New for the Fostex MR-8 Mk II is the USB host feature which allows for the easy connection of an 'off-the-shelf' CD-R burner via USB. Making CD masters has never been more simple. The Fostex MR8MkII comes with a whopping 1GB card, this will give approx 200 track minutes of recording time @ CD quality, or 400 minutes in Extended mode. EXTENDED MODE (16bit/22.05kHz) doubles the recording time. Note that recording time varies depending on recorded source, punch in/out, undo/redo status, etc.
